There are some older unboxings still coming up, but I did want to edit this one and get it up as soon as I could so here is the first 2014 Glossybox Unboxing (filmed with another camera so the quality is a lot better). The theme for this January 2014 Glossybox is: “Fresh Start” which is a good thing, I’ve even tried new things already this year…. (watch the video!!)

I actually used this mask, aren’t you proud of me. I am, and I looked rediculous. Did I look amazing afterwards? No I just saw a moisturised face that could have been done with another moisturizing mask as well, so don’t think just because it’s SNAIL SLIME, that it’s better, it’s just a more gross idea, but it wasn’t extremely shiney, when I took it off after 30 minutes the entire mask was dry on my face. Their marketing is amazing though, “This innovative hydro gel mask is an Asian beauty secret. It moisturizes, soothes, regenerates your skin, and is known to reverse skin damage as well as have natural healing powers when applied. Word on the street is it has a huge celebrity following!” Who are these celebrities?? Why no names or extra information? The ingredients mentioned are: Snail Slime Extract 5% and Baobab Extract 2%.

I love this as a primer, and you really need a quarter of a pea size drop for the T-zone so this 3.0 ml sample will last pretty long.
This is not like the Urban Decay Primer potion and if you read on you’ll know why. This quickly minimizes the appearance of pores & fine lines for smoother-than-smooth skin! Apply this silky, lightweight balm alone, under or over makeup. Translucent, oil-free formula complements all skintones and helps makeup stay put. It all sounds great these tissues and I really liked the pommegranate extract with the waterbased tissues and other natural extracts, but when I tried to take my makeup off at the end of the day, I had mascara down to my cheeks and the white scribe dots didn’t move. Which can mean that the scribe is a really longlasting eyeliner (which it is) or that these tissues don’t clean as well as you’d think. So this is a pass for me.

I love cleansing gimmicks, I have a Clarisonic that I love and I never bring it anywhere with me because I’m afraid of damage during travel, so this sponge is really handy. It feels really nice as well and because you can use this on babies, I even used it with a light cleanser over my eyes. Really amazing. My skin felt clean afterwards and I’m one happy camper.
