I’m so sorry I’ve been away so much. I know I keep trying to post more but life does get in the way. That and technical difficulties. I’m trying to get my database back in order after missing my old laptop for so long and then even before I had my new one set up the way I like it, it broke already so everything from there I backed up as well and now I seriously can’t find anything.
So here is a quick how-to picture tutorial of a Halloween look I did about a month ago for all of you who just want to look different but not having it be a “real” look.
I started with the Make Up For Ever’s Flash Color Case white and peach colours and I made sure not to go near my hairline and not to blend out the edges. I blended the colours together with a flat brush and by patting it with my fingers.
Next I started by pushing my eyes closed really hard and then I used a dark blue Urban Decay Deluxe Shadow in Adore close to the lashline, blending that into the next UD Deluxe colour which was Freakshow, I blended that into UD Fishnet and that I blended into a Sephora pink shadow. I used that same pink shadow to create cheekbones and add some contour to my nose (because of the heavy base you lose a lot of shape in your face that you have to put back in.
I added a little pink to the lips (from the Flash Color Case). I put most of the colour on the inner part of the lips blending it into the base colour.
I used an Essence turquoise eyeliner on my lashline and to add feathery strokes to the outside of the eye because I thought it wasn’t finished yet. I then added a little translucent powder and a black mascara to my lashes and I was done.
All in all this look took me maybe an hour, probably less.
