Truly Yours unboxing January 2013 (box no. 13)

Hi everyone,

This was the first Truly Yours box of the year and it came with an extra goodie for me. At the end of 2012 they asked us in an email what we thought would be great products to try and trusty favourites of ours. Well, you know me, I can’t tell you one product overall, so I had to split it up into foundations, hairproducts, skincare, eyecare etc. It became a really long email talking about lots and lots of products and I’d won the gift they would send to one of the people who’d responded.

I got 2 Philosophy products, Hope in a Jar and the Microdelivery Exfoliating wash. I LOVE them both. Thank you Truly Yours!!

Before I go on with the Unboxing, here is the look I’m wearing in this and the other unboxing video’s I’ve done this month (I filmed them all on the same day).

This was a great mask to wear, I really like the Dr. van der Hoog masks. My skin felt really soft and clean.

- HOT makeup – Glitter Eyeshadow in no. 3 (17 gr. fullsize = €10,60)

This glitter shadow is really not what I expected. I had this kind of glitter gel by Sephora once and that didn’t irritate and feel like a film of dried gel on my eyes. It felt really bad on my eyes. I will not wear this on my eyes again. I’ll use it for glitter on my collarbone or something. Having said that, this brand isn’t all bad, HOT is a Danish makeup brand that isn’t very expensive but is also ready to experiment.

- RoC – 3-in-1 Cleansing Milk (60 ml miniature) (200 ml fullsize = €13,16)

This makeup cleanser works really well and didn’t feel sticky or anything after I took it off. I still prefer my Clarisonic, but this really amazed me positively. It applies like a milk but after removal feels like tonic.

- Biosilk – Therapy Shampoo (15 ml miniature) (355 ml fullsize = €16,80)

I haven’t tried this shampoo yet. It has silk protein, botanical extracts and herbs.

- Lancaster – Aquamilk Absolute Moisture Cream (30 ml fullsize = €14,95)

This moisturizer has been in the Truly Yours box before, and because it was a great success they brought it back. This is a hydrating cream great for winterskin.

- See by Chloé scent:

This scent has the following description on Sephora:
Embodies femininity while blending masculine codes in an urban-chic way. This fragrance captures the audaciousness and strong personality of the Chloé woman.

An addictive floral fruity fragrance, it captures the irresistible and playful personality of a young woman fully embracing life. The fusing top of juicy bergamot and apple translate her energy and her urban edginess. Her natural feminity is conveyed through a beautiful floral bouquet of jasmin and ylang that grows into a sexy veil of vanilla and addictive musks.

A strong and feminine bottle that revisits the Chloé codes combining high-end perfumery with modern details. Its refined faceted glass catches the light to give a real luxury feel. Its uniqueness also comes from its three lovely feet beneath the bottle, elevating it to create the appearance of floating. The shiny silver cap is decorated with a delicate ring to catch the bottle.

Notes:
Jasmin, Ylang, Vanilla, Musk.
